Welcome to The New Year!

Happy New Year! I hope you are doing well so far this year and have begun to think about your resolutions.

I went to the doctor this past Wednesday. The nurse took my weight, and I was shocked at the results. Between October 8, 2019, and January 8, 2019, I gained 31 pounds.

I was surprised because of the weight gain. In three months, I had many holiday meals, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.

I went to Walmart, yesterday to get some food for the week. Walmart is a great place to find deals. I saw a bottle of pink nail polish for $1.00 on clearance. The sales associate says that they are clearing things out from Christmas.

However, I am not giving up. Sometimes losing weight is difficult. You have temptations and other health-related circumstances which get in the way. But, if I could be on my diet and succeed, I could lose the weight by perseverance.

Today, I walked during all of my breaks at work as a part of my New Year’s Resolution. Another part of my New Year’s Resolution is to blog more. And, be open with my audience.
